Having introduced the first AUTOMODAL ramp system in early 1989, enabling two(2) vehicles to be transported safely in a 20 foot standard container, or four(4) vehicles in a 40 foot container, AUTO RAMP INC. has now launched a new version of this innovative concept. This new system is 'AR 2000'.

After years of in-depth experience in the field of transport of vehicles through the world, the need for a more efficient and innovative product came to light. This experience, combined with research performed by an international team of engineers, has resulted in the product which we now present.

AR 2000 will allow virtually anyone involved in the transport of vehicles to load on their own vehicles into containers, economically utilize available space and, consequently, maximize profits by offering a 'house-to-house' service.

Due to its imaginative design characteristics, loading may be accomplished by only two(2) employees who have received a minimum of special training. A typical load should be accomplished in less then one hour.

Utilizing the AR 2000, two large and two mid-size vehicles would take up only 34 feet of linear floor space within a forty foot container.

Some other key features include the ability to manually adjust the height of the rampways, at diverse angles, thereby , allowing the handling of vehicles in various shapes and sizes, and at the same time, reducing damage by maximizing clearances between asymmetrically shaped vehicles. The range of possible positions is quite ample in both height and angle. Disassembly is quick and straightforward and storage space is minimized, allowing rampsets to be container dedicated. There are only ten(10) parts per rampset and all are interchangeable; front-to-back and left-to-right. No screws, nails or additional equipment is needed for assembly, nor for use.

Advantages are also obtained in reduced administrative costs because of the use of our computerized bar-code tracking. Our inventory controls support system will reduce your time and expense by eliminating confusing and disputes over equipment whereabouts.

This free-stranding unit allows use in virtually any type of container since there is no possibility of damage to containers, not even when used in refrigerated units, where our rubberized pressure plates protect the  integrity of the specialized flooring.

The possibilities are ample. Ramps may be partially loaded outside the container and, while in the warehouse, utilized to provide 'double deck' storage space. Approval is pending for railroad use as well as non-transportation applications.
